The Turbulent 2020s: A Midterm ReportSummer Retreat with Bishop Anna - Sunday, July 27, 2025 Bishop Anna Greenwood-Lee and Christine Conkin, incumbent at St George's, Cadboro Bay, will be hosting a week of intentional reflection at the Sorrento Centre this summer (July 27 - August 2). The week will explore and incarnate life-giving theology and practice in this turbulent decade. The 2020s... we know how they started. How are they going? Climate crisis. Racial reckonings. Institutional church decline. Trump is back. The future is uncertain. How does our theology help or hinder us as we navigate the turbulence of our times? How do we hold fast in these chaotic and changing times? Together you'll look at some of the theological voices of our time and explore their insights to dig into some of the issues of our day. Prices vary depending on the meal package and accomodation type selected. Young adults (19–39) will receive $325 to be applied to their registration. Funding is distributed on a first come, first serve basis and is limited. Funding is also available from the Educational Trusts Board. For more information, CLICK HERE.
