Each of our parishes has a Safe Church Liaison. It is this volunteer's responsibility to liaise with the synod office and assist with safe church training tracking and implementation to satisfy our insurance requirements. Without these remarkable volunteers, our safe church program would not be as successful at it is. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of our 47 safe church liaisons that give of their time so generously. They all worked especially hard to provide in-person training opportunities for their parish this year with our new safe church video. Hundreds of training sessions, forms and CRC applications have been processed between August and now.
