Palm Sunday attack on Al-Ahli Arab Hospital
Following an air strike on Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza on Palm Sunday, leaders across the Anglican Church of Canada have spoken out condeming the attack. The hospital is operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem. Archbishop Linda Nicholls has written a letter to the leaders of all political parties in Canada. Alongside Hope launches Resilience Fund in response to aid cuts
In the wake of massive cuts to international development assistance, Alongside Hope has launched an urgent appeal to donors. Supporting the “Resilience Fund” will allow Alongside Hope to provide partners with additional support for refugees, HIV-related needs and for women recovering from gender-based-violence. Thanks to an anonymous donor, all donations made to the Resilience Fund by June 30, 2025 will be matched, up to $250,000.
