Deconsecration AnnouncementA Service and Lunch - Saturday, June 7, 2025 On Saturday, June 7, at St. Dunstan's, Gordon Head, Bishop Anna will lead a service celebrating the decades of vibrant ministry at St. Dunstan’s and deconsecrate the space for its use for other purposes. The service will take place at 11:00am and we encourage all members of the diocese to join with the people of St. Dunstan’s in this day of celebration and grief. Clergy are invited to vest and process. The color for the day is white. The service will be followed by a catered lunch. Please register if you wish to attend the lunch so we can make sure there is enough food provided for all. To register CLICK HERE. The deadline to register for the lunch is May 19th. Ordination to the Sacred Order of PriesthoodRebecca Yeo and Mona Smart - Sunday, June 8, 2025 On June 8, 2025 Bishop Anna will ordain Rebecca Yeo and Mona Smart to the sacred order of priesthood. The service will begin at 4pm and will take place at Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria. A reception will follow the service. All are welcome! Sulin has faithfully served St. Peter's with dedication, compassion and spiritual leadership. Red Dress DayMay 5, 2025 Red Dress Day is held every year on May 5th in Canada. It is a national day of remembrance for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirited People (MMIWG2S+). To honor those who have been lost, we hang red dresses in trees, on front porches or in windows or wear red dress pins. There are a number of activism events throughout the country to raise awareness. To learn more you can visit the Amnesty International website by CLICKING HERE.
