Ross Bliss appointed vicar, Christ Church Cathedral, Victoria

The bishop has appointed Ross Bliss as vicar to Christ Church Cathedral, Victoria, effective January 1, 2019.  Ross comes to us from the Diocese of New Westminster where he serves at Christ Church Cathedral as curate.  

Prior to entering ordained ministry, Ross worked at the Vancouver Public Library in lending and circulation services. He is passionate about learning, teaching and sharing ideas and is very drawn to icons and how they work as 'visual theology'. He also holds a BA in jazz studies and is a jazz guitarist who specializes in Gypsy Jazz. He also likes dogs.
