Structure

The Diocese of British Columbia, also officially known as the Diocese of Islands and Inlets, is a single legal entity created in 1889 by an act of the British Columbia legislature.  We are led by our Bishop, Anna Greenwood-Lee and governed canonically by our Synod.  The diocese includes forty-five worshipping communities that, together with the synod office and some ministries that fall outside of the parishes, make up the Synod.
