Diocesan Finance Officer Appointed

We are pleased to announce that the bishop has appointed Gillian Astbury-Heinke as the new diocesan finance officer. Gillian is currently training with Gail Gauthier, and her official transition into the role will occur at the end of April upon Gail's retirement.

Gillian joined the synod office staff as the accountant and payroll manager in October 2020. She has been a great fit in the synod office and has quickly built a broad knowledge-base in diocesan financial matters. She is a CPA|CGA and has over 15 years experience in all aspects of financial management including financial statements, reporting, accounts payable and receivables and working with the auditors at year-end. 

Gillian can currently be contacted at either gastbury@bc.anglican.ca or payroll@bc.anglican.ca. After April 30, she will also take over finance@bc.anglican.ca.
