There are many people who are paid to perform various tasks in each parish. Wardens, with the incumbent, are responsible for the contracting and management of lay employees and service providers. It is important to use the correct contract to establish the relationship between the worker and the parish. They synod staff is available to help determine whether the new hire is an employee or independent contractor.
