Roland edits the monthly (September-June) publication of Faith Tides, the diocese' online space where people of faith and doubt can walk alongside one another, share their stories and grow together. Roland seeks out news and stories from across the diocese, and whips them into shape with his keen eye for grammar, punctuation and style. He also pens the odd article himself.
Roland received his degree in Art History from Concordia University in Montreal. After completing his studies, he went on to work for California State Parks, The U.S. Forest Service, and The National Park Service in interpretive media.
When Roland is not busy editing, he writes about English history, with a focus on the 16th century Tudor period. He has been published both academically and in the popular press.
