Clara Plamondon hails from the prairies and has enjoyed experiencing the beauty and wonder of all three western provinces of Canada. She brings with her a love of worship and liturgy, retreats and spiritual formation. She has a desire to create opportunities for community, gather people and to build strong relationships as a way of living out our baptismal ministry.
Clara's love of teaching is often revealed in small group discussions where she gets excited when others get excited about their faith and life with God. She brings with her a life-long commitment to be church beyond the walls of our churches.
Along with her role as archdeacon of Cowichan/Malaspina, Clara serves as Incumbent of the parish of St. Paul Anglican Church in Nanaimo. She is also on the Executive Committee of our Ecclesiastical Province of BC & Yukon and is currently serving on the Council of General Synod of the Anglican Church in Canada. She is a member of Diocesan Council and sits on various committees including the Diocesan Ministry Discernment Committee and Vision Grant Fund Committee.
She enjoys live theatre, travelling, and that first sip of a freshly brewed cup of coffee while the morning slowly unfolds.
