Every motion is reviewed and sometimes rewritten by the resolution committee subject to Canon 2.1, Regulation, 2.1.01, and Appendix “F”. Once the motion is in order and properly written, the chancellor looks at it. It is then copied and distributed to members of Synod. Once they are distributed then notice of motion is considered to have been given. The motion is then dealt with as set out in the agenda, usually no sooner than the next sitting after distribution.
