Building for the Future – Christ Church Cathedral Precinct Master Plan – WEBSITE LINK
The rezoning application has been submitted to the City of Victoria. The anticipated timeline for approval is 18-24 months.
St. Peter, Lakehill
Conceptual design for a potential project has been completed (CMHC funded). A BC Housing application (Community Housing Fund) was made in early 2024 and we were not awarded funding. We are currently exploring options to continue working toward a redevelopment.
St. Dunstan’s, Gordon Head
The RFP (Request for Proposals) for offers to purchase the South West portion (the meadow) of the site was unsuccessful. Diocesan Council voted in November 2024 to approve listing the site for sale with an agent. The congregation will remain active and is worshiping at St. Peter's Lakehill from Epiphany to Easter as a trial.

St. John the Baptist, Duncan
A collaboration with Duncan Housing Society and BC Housing to build affordable rental housing for seniors and those living with disabilities has been approved. Agreements are being finalized and a new hall will be constructed for the parish as a part of the project. The building permit has been applied for and construction is set to begin in early Spring 2025.
St. John the Divine, Victoria
Collaboration with Aboriginal Coalition to End Homelessness and BC Housing to build a 32-unit Wellness House with cultural and wrap-around medical support. An agreement to sell a portion of the parking lot bas been signed and the plans are being finalized with construction anticipated in 2026.
St. Matthias, Victoria
On September 21, 2023, Diocesan Council authorized signing a Memorandum of Understanding with a developer to negotiate the potential sale of a portion of the St. Matthias property. On Sunday, February 4, 2024, Bishop Anna announced that no satisfactory agreement had been reached and the Diocese was going to wait at least a year before revisiting the possibility of a sale.
Dawson Heights Housing, Saanich - Website Link
Construction in nearing completion for 85 units of affordable seniors housing. Occupation is anticipated to be early 2025.
