Our diocesan policies apply to all diocesan employees (clergy and lay) and to volunteers. Upon reading the policies found here, sign the appropriate acknowledgement form below and send it to Anna van der Hooft at safechurch@bc.anglican.ca Signed copies (either electronic or hard) are kept securely in the synod office according to the standards set out in PIPA and our own privacy policy.
As part of our commitment to keeping our churches safe, all clergy, lay staff, wardens, treasurers, and lay ministers are required to read and provide acknowledgement of the Human Resources Policy, Respectful Conduct Policy, Privacy Policy, Information Security Policy, and Social Media Policy via this form. (1) providing direction to others (i.e. a leadership capacity),
(2) working with money,
(3) working with children or vulnerable people, and/or
(4) holding a key to the parish buildings
