Created in memory of Fred Rudd by Phyllis G. Sheffield, these funds are available to any Anglican student studying for the sacred ministry with the intention of being ordained a deacon or priest in the Diocese of British Columbia.

The bishop's office generates a list of candidates each year, which is why it's helpful for those seeking ordination to identify their intention to the bishop's office early. Candidates do not necessarily need to have “postulant” status within the diocese to be eligible, but must have embarked on the careful work of discernment with their home parish and stated their intention to the bishop.
