The reality is, many of the things we do in ministry cost money. Whether its training and leadership development, programs for children or seniors, creating green spaces, gardens or labyrinths for meditation and contemplation, repairs and maintainence on buildings or simply running the day-to-day operations of a parish.

In addition to the sources of funding in the private and government sector, there are church-based programs that can support individuals and parishes, some of which are administered here in our diocese. Below is a list of places you can go if you have an idea or a desire to do more with the gifts God has given you. Anglican Foundation Canada

The Anglican Foundation of Canada was established in 1957 to encourage and support ministry within the Anglican Church of Canada.

Educational Trusts Board

Administers legacy trusts for educational grants for lay and clergy and sponsors the annual John Albert Hall lecture series at the University of Victoria. The following is a list of grants and bursaries currently available to lay and ordained members of the diocese. Email the Educational Trusts Board. 

Vision Fund

In 2019, $50,000 is available for parishes and special ministries of the diocese to further one or more aspects of the diocesan Vision and respond to the bishop's call for a Season of Discipleship
