National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is nearly upon us. As a diocese we have a responsibility to repent and mourn our role in and benefit from the dispossession of land, lifeways and culture. On this day we remember the Survivors and generational Survivors of the residential schools on these islands and inlets.

We hope you can participate in the events that are happening locally in your community, and join these local nations in remembering and in celebrating the resistance and revitalization that is taking place. To find an event near you, click READ MORE.
