Watch Bishop Anna's sermon for the sixth week of Easter as we journey together this Easter season.

On Wednesday, May 20 at 5:00pm there will be a special Choral Evensong at Christ Church Cathedral with Archbishop Shane Parker preaching and Archbishop John Stephens presiding.

The service will be followed by a wine & cheese reception hosted by the Anglican Foundation of Canada. All are welcome! 

Christ Church Cathedral is pleased to present a conference on homelessness in Victoria. The conference begins on Thursday, May 21 at 7pm with the opening lecture "A Theology of Home in a Time of Homelessness" presented by Dr. Siobhan Garrigan

On Friday, May 22 there will be a day of panel discussions on the factors that lead to homelessness, on the barriers, gaps and policy failures that perpetuate homelessness, and on what is working and where advocacy is leading to real change. The conference will close on Saturday, May 24 with a day of storytelling. We will hear from people who have spent periods of their lives unhoused, and the Rev. Maggie Helwig will read from her book Encampment.

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a learning program of theological education designed to equip lay people to live out the ministry to which all Christians are called through baptism.

Parish Administrators Day will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Christ Church Cathedral. We will gather at 10am, with the workshop running from 10:30am-12:30pm. Lunch will be provided.

An agenda will be available shortly. If you are a parish administrator or assist with administration for your parish (such as website management etc.) you are welcome to attend.

The collation of the Rev. Helen Lingham to Archdeacon of Deacons will take place at St. Paul, Nanaimo on Monday, June 15 at 7pm. All are welcome!

The Synod Office is hosting a Retired Clergy Picnic for all the retired clergy in our diocese at St. George the Martyr, Cadboro Bay on Wednesday, June 24 from 12pm-1:30pm.
