The Rev. Ronald Ernest Macluskie passed away on June 26, 2024.

Ron served as Chaplain at the Nanaimo Correctional Centre and was ordained in the Anglican Church. After retirement, he became an Honorary Assistant at Christ Church Cathedral, beloved for his warm presence and commitment to ministry.

A funeral service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, Victoria, on July 13 at 10am, followed by internment at Royal Oak Burial Park. To read the obituary and leave condolences, CLICK HERE.

The Ordination to the Sacred Order of Deacon (Transitional) will take place of September 15, 2024. The service will begin at 4pm at Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria. A reception will follow. All are welcome.

The Parish Administrator works with the wardens, treasurer, and parishioners to serve both the church and the community. The wardens and council are responsible for the supervision of the Parish Administrator in the absence of an incumbent (priest). The start date for this role is September 3, 2024.
