Christ Church Cathedral Master PlanBuilding for the Future "Building for the Future" is a long-term plan for the Christ Church Cathedral Precinct. The plan will preserve and enhance the Cathedral and heritage buildings, add more public green space, and construct new housing. We are preparing to submit a rezoning application in December and are sharing the work to date. A New Program
Charisms is a new program offering opportunities for education and meaningful conversations about communication, building healthy relationships and leadership within our parishes. Each session will take place on the second Tuesday of every month (beginning November) at Noon and be approximately 2 hours long. All sessions will be offered through Zoom. IntersectionsWednesday, October 25, 2023 Intersections: A Dialogue Series is an opportunity to engage with Challenging Racist ‘British Columbia’: 150 Years and Counting (CRBC). Produced as part of the commemorations of 150 years since BC joined Canada, this open-access, multimedia resources documents how the recent cycle of anti-racist activism in this province is part of a broader history of Indigenous, Black and other racialized communities challenging white supremacy for over 150 years. If you would like to order a hard copy of Challenging Racist 'British Columbia', you can do so through the University of Victoria Bookstore. Capacity is limited to 30 participants so please RSVP by clicking on the RSVP button. The deadline to RSVP is October 9, 2023. Wardens and Treasurers DaySaturday, November 4, 2023 Wardens and Treasurers Day will take place November 4th from 9:30am to 2:30pm at St Pauls Anglican Church in Nanaimo. Coffee and muffins will be served at 9am and the workshop will begin at 9:30am. This event it an educational opportunity for all Wardens and Treasurers to meet and receive supportive direction from the Synod Office for their work within our diocese.
