Peter Daniel has resigned as asset manager effective June 30, 2019. However, Peter will continue in an advisory and consulting role until the end of December.
In particular, Peter will continue to support the following projects: Roger’s Court Housing Society, the seniors' affordable housing project at St. Peter and St. Paul in Esquimalt, Mount Douglas Housing project completing this month and St. Dunstan hall renovation to accommodate a new preschool operated by Christ Church Cathedral School.
Peter has been a dedicated servant to the life of the diocese, using his experience, energy, skill and creative thinking to address a wide variety of property matters. His office has built a database for all real estate assets; produced substantial sales and income from real estate assets; and directed development on diocesan and society lands. Most recently, the Mount Douglas Seniors' affordable housing project will provide 84 new affordable homes for seniors. He has produced an asset management capital plan for future consideration and implementation.
The synod office has been enriched by Peter’s commitment to our collective mission and he will be missed especially by his staff colleagues.
As a diocese, we are deeply grateful for Peter’s contribution to our common life and we wish him every blessing as he continues to respond to God’s call to serve.
