Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the family of faith we call the Diocese of Islands and Inlets this past weekend (September 15-16). By coming together to pray, learn and share, we have taken another step in our shared work as ministers of reconciliation. Here are a few of your comments about the conference:
"This was inspiring well organized welcoming and I appreciated the emphasis on diocesan family."
"I loved th conference. It was just what I needed."
"This conference was, in many ways, an improvement over the 2016 conference. May it continue! Thank you all."
"Thank you!"
"Thank you for a wonderful day today! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thanks to Adam Oleson, I loved learning about all the people, the human, salmon, tree, deer and orcas, all co-existing in harmony. Thanks to the presenters, one hour just flew by so quickly, they were all wonderful! Thanks for the great lunch, the sandwiches full of lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers with various meats on lovely breads was fantastic! Not to mention the sweets.... Thank you to everyone else for a great conference! The feeling of community and inclusiveness was everywhere, just lovely!"
Mark your calendars for September 28-29, 2018 for the next We Together diocesan conference. See you there!
