- There is a Flatbread Fundraiser at St Philip, Cedar on Saturday, May 3, 2025, to raise funds to help pay for candidates to attend the upcoming Cursillo weekend. There are two options: there is a flatbread making session, limited to 18 people, from 10 am-12 pm. Lunch is a selection of soups and freshly-made flatbreads, where everyone is welcome. Contact Elaine Bradshaw at bradshawcursillo@gmail.com to sign up for the session, and to RSVP for the lunch. $25/person for the session/lunch, $15/person for lunch only, or $35 for a family with children under 14 years.

- Patricia Hatt is the Rectora of the upcoming Cursillo weekend that is being held May 29-June 1, 2025, at George Pringle Memorial Camp in Shawnigan Lake. The theme verse is Isaiah 9:6 "For a child has been born for us ...and he is named ...Prince of Peace." Please join us for the closing service on Sunday afternoon, June 1, to welcome our new Cursillistas! Specific time to follow. Please pray and write Palanca for our new candidates! Also consider if there is someone you could sponsor to come to the co-ed weekend.

- There is a 4th Day Workshop booked at St. Peter's, Quamichan, for Saturday, June 14. All are welcome! More information to follow.

- The Rondalyn Resort Cursillo Campout is scheduled for August 22-24/25, and several Cursilistas have already booked their campsites. A Grand Ultreya will be held on Saturday, August 23. Potluck supper in the clubhouse starting at 5 pm, with the Ultreya to follow. Anyone is welcome to join us, and come earlier in the day to visit with those who are camping and to enjoy the pool!
