Join us as we celebrate the life and ministry of the late Barry Jenks, retired bishop of the Diocese of Britsh Columbia.
A leader remembered for his social justice work, Bishop (ret) Barry Jenks died July 11 at the age of 80. Jenks was the 11th bishop of the Anglican Diocese of British Columbia, serving from 1992 to 2003. Jenks was ordained in 1965, and he served in parishes in Sechelt, Lantzville, Departure Bay and Victoria before becoming bishop.
