Are you looking to deepen your faith? Do you want to know more about the Bible, Christian tradition and church history? Are you hoping to understand how your personal experiences and beliefs bring you closer to God and God’s people?
Education for Ministry (EfM) is a learning program of theological education designed to equip lay people to live out the ministry to which all Christians are called through baptism.
Wherever you are on your faith journey, EfM offers a place to begin or to continue to discern how God is inviting you to grow, serve, and live with purpose. In EfM you are invited to step into a community of listening, learning and prayer to discover the breadth and depth of the Christian tradition, and, through the practice of theological reflection, enter into a dynamic conversation between tradition, contemporary culture and personal experience.
EfM helps you name and nurture your gifts, recognize moments of invitation from God, and discern how your unique story fits into God’s mission in the world. Through study, reflection and shared wisdom, you’ll be empowered to live your faith with intention and courage.
If you would like to learn more about EfM you are invited to attend an open house at St. Peter’s, Quamichan on Thursday May 21, at 6:30pm. All are welcome.
