Ordination to the Sacred order of the Priesthood

The Rev. Lynn Mills and The Rev. Leslie Flynn

God willing the Bishop Anna Greenwood-Lee intends to ordain Lynn Mills and Leslie Flynn to the sacred order of priesthood in the new year.

The Rev. Lynn Mills will be ordained at 11am on Saturday, February 3rd at St. Mary of the Incarnation, Metchosin.

The Rev. Leslie Flynn will be ordained 11am on Saturday, February 10th at St. Philip, Cedar.

The Rev. Leslie Flynn is the new Curate at St Philip, Cedar in Nanaimo, effective February 1, 2024.

National Day of Remembrance and Action

On Violence Against Women - Wednesday, December 6, 2023

Bishop Anna Greenwood-Lee is the guest speaker for the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. This candle lighting service will take place on Wednesday, December 6th at 5:30pm a Broad View United (3703 St. Aidan's Street).

This important service is a multi-faith and multi-cultural recognition making the Anniversary of the fourteen lives lost in Quebec at L'École Polytechnique de Montreal. The fourteen young students were targeted because they were women and an additional fourteen were injured. The event also lifts up the thousands of women who continue to die from domestic abuse every year in Canada.
