A Garden Sale Spring Fundraiser for the Shelbourne Community Kitchen will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 10 am to 2 pm hosted by St. Aidan’s United Church, 3703 St. Aidan’s Street.

The Garden Sale organizers are presently looking for donations of garden tools and furniture, weathered fence boards for stencilling “vintage” signs, plastic pots of all sizes for transplanting perennials, old rusty fittings such as coat hooks and hinges for making garden art. If you have any of these items, please leave a message for Barb Prescott, c/o St. Luke's Office (250-477-6741) or by e-mail and Barb will arrange for them to be picked up.

On sale will be perennials, annuals, gently used garden tools, handmade planters, stepping-stones, garden décor, Mother’s Day gifts and more. This will be a family event with crafts for kids.

Please come out and support the Shelbourne Community Kitchen. For more information about the Kitchen, call 250-590-0980 or visit the Shelbourne Community Kitchen website.
