Safe Church Modules
The Diocese of British Columbia has assessed the roles and responsibilities of each leadership position within a parish and rated the level of risk to address what level of Safe Church training is required. Every volunteer may watch the new 35 minute Safe Church Training Video. All employees must complete the Praesidium Safe Church modules. If a volunteer does not wish to watch the video and prefers to complete modules, they should find their role below to complete the following modules.

Volunteers: envelope secretary, counters, musician/organist/choir director (without children or vulnerable people present), honorary priests, anyone with a key to the church, the altar guild and custodian.
- Please watch the Safe Church Training Video or speak directly with your safe church liaison if you prefer Praesidium Modules. At the moment, none are assigned for these roles as the video training is sufficient.
Volunteers: social media assistant, social media coordinator and videographer.
