The bishop of the Anglican Diocese of British Columbia seeks a full-time incumbent for St George the Martyr, Cadboro Bay (Victoria).

The Diocese of British Columbia is a regional expression of the Anglican Church of Canada, part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, and one part of the whole body of Christ. Our diocese is on an exciting journey as we seek, through our diocesan vision, to become renewed people with renewed hearts and renewed spirits. The parish of St George in Cadboro Bay is one of twenty-four Anglican parishes in the greater Victoria area and one of forty-six diocesan worshipping communities extending across Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands of the Salish Sea and Kingcome Inlet.

St George is a community of approximately 250 active parishioners centred around the eucharist and actively reaching out in tangible ways to youth and families with young children, newcomers to Canada, those who are isolated due to age or ability, and those seeking spiritual renewal in new and creative ways. The parish seeks to deepen its faith, challenge ways of thinking, and be a source of welcome, inspiration and love not just on Sundays, but every day throughout the year.

If your priestly vocation aligns with where God seems to be leading us, we want to hear from you. Copies of the parish profile can be obtained from Tara Saracuse, executive assistant to the bishop. Deadline for applications is  April 22, 2021.
