In addition to her role as archdeacon, Dawna is the incumbent of St Michael and All Angels, Royal Oak, a canon of the cathedral, a member of the diocesan Liturgical Commission and Diocesan Council.
Dawna loves helping people of all ages connect with the holy in self, others and in the world. She gets super excited about the way all those things come together in music, literature, poetry and the visual arts.
Favourite Food: Mediterranean, especially eggplant. She frequently annoys her family by quoting this poem by David Craig: "What is this Holy Spirit? And what is it doing in the eggplant?"
Least Favourite Food: She loathes tripe, all its relatives and anything even closely associated with it.
Favourite Book: I Heard God Laughing by Hafiz, translated by Daniel Ladinsky
Favourite Movie: Sense and Sensibility
