Amrinder has joined the Synod Office Team as our new Administrative Assistant and Receptionist. He will be supporting everyone in the office as well as stepping in as our new first point of contact answering the synod@bc.anglican.ca email and the phone during office hours.

St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Sidney is pleased to announce the induction of its eighteenth incumbent, the Rev. Kelly Duncan.

The community is invited to attend the induction service on Saturday, November 25 at the church, located at 9691 Fourth Street, Sidney. The service, to be led by the Right Reverend Anna Greenwood-Lee, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Islands and Inlets and will begin at 2 pm. The service will be followed by a reception.

Kelly was formerly the rector of the Parish of St. George in Fort Langley, BC. She was educated at UBC (Bachelor of Commerce) and at the Vancouver School of Theology (Master of Divinity) and was ordained a priest in 2008. The Rev. Diana Spencer passed away at home on Wednesday, November 15th.

Diana was canonically resident in our diocese. She was ordained in 1989 and was the Incumbent of the Parish of St John the Evangelist in Ladysmith as of 1992. After retiring in 1996, she was an Honorary Assistant at Christ Church Cathedral before moving to Toronto in 2012.
