DESCRIPTION:All licensed lay leaders are warmly invited to a workshop on li
 turgical leadership and embodiment led by the Rev. Anna Rossi\, Vicar at C
 hrist Church Cathedral. The workshop will focus on liturgy as pilgrimage\,
  and moving with presence and intention as an act of worship. Gather in th
 e nave at Christ Church Cathedral from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Comfortable\, closed
 -toe shoes are encouraged\, as we’ll spend time in motion and carrying s
 acred objects. Accommodations will be made for any with limited mobility.\
 nThe Rev. Canon Ingrid Andersen will give an update on the Lay Worship Lea
 der Course and introduce the new Lay Worship Leader Handbook you will rece
 ive. We will also have time for sharing experiences and questions as well.
 \nAll lay worship leaders are encouraged to join in the opening procession
  at the 7 p.m. Synod Opening Eucharist. Bring Eucharistic vestments (whate
 ver is customary to wear in your parish) to the training\, and we’ll con
 clude the training with preparations for the evening liturgy. (You do not 
 need to have vestments in order to process – please don’t let this be 
 a barrier.) Those processing should plan to return from their dinner break
 s and be vested (if applicable) and in position in the Lady Chapel at 6:30
  p.m.\nWe ask that those attending please register using the button below 
 to indicate whether they will be joining the workshop\, processing at the 
 service\, or both.
